JPE is known for a diverse portfolio with a focus on community and civic infrastructure including award winning landscape architecture and urban design, masterplans, public and civic realm, open space, streetscapes and play spaces, in addition to many integrated architecture led projects. They enjoy an established client base across State and Local Government, Education and Commercial sectors with a focus on client and stakeholder engagement, environmentally sustainable and socially responsive design.

The Role
Due to a growing reputation and aspiration to expand the Urban Design offering, JPE Design Studio is seeking a passionate a highly-experienced Urban Designer or Landscape Architect to continue the studio’s growth. With an extensive demonstrated track record and through mentoring a talented team while enhancing design capabilities, we are seeking a strategic thinker and design champion with a focused ambition for innovation, placemaking and co-design.
You will bring energy and optimism together with a demonstrated ability to win work, grow the team and create strong relationships with clients and throughout the industry. Your understanding of urban and environmental renewal and design excellence should be second-to-none

JPE Design Studio has a strong focus on culture, so someone who thrives in leadership and creativity concurrently role will excel. You should have degree level qualifications in Urban Design, Landscape Architecture or Architecture, and be familiar with Australian Standards together with strategic and statutory frameworks.
Leadership, project and team management experience are essential, along with a proven history of stakeholder and public engagement presentations. Your exceptional written, verbal and design communications skills, high-level problem-solving skills and demonstrated proactive leadership will form the foundation for your success in this position.
