As a result, this contractor is now looking for a Senior HSE Administrator to support their growing safety team. You will enjoy being developed through working in an organisation functioning within the commercial, aged care, education, hospitality and retail sectors. Be guided by a team of knowledgeable construction professionals who share a positive and collaborative approach. 
 
The role
Operating from a primarily office based location (60% office/ 40% site) you will be working across a varied portfolio of projects, playing a key role in fostering a safety-focused culture. Your key responsibilities will include;
  • Manage end-to-end safety and develop HSEQ training programs
  • Liaise with employees, subcontractors, and stakeholders
  • Focus on administrative tasks and safety promotion
  • Uphold an awareness of WHS legislation, guidelines, and risk management in relation to the building industry
  • Maintain company safety software and ensure records are up to date
  • Coordinate incident investigations and required reporting
  • Assist in the development of hazard and risk identification processes and controls  
The ideal candidate
We are seeking an experienced Senior HSE Administrator who is passionate about driving and upholding safety processes. Additionally, the successful candidate will bring;
  • 2 - 5+ years experience in a Safety focused position, ideally in the commercial construction industry, although other industry experience will be considered
  • Thorough understanding of quality, and health and safety management systems
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work collaboratively with multiple stakeholders
A Certificate IV in WHS and a relevant First Aid Certificate will be highly regarded for this position. This is an opportunity to be an integral part of a seasoned and professional team, receiving support from an organisation of over 70 individuals.
