The Opportunity
With a long and prosperous history in the South Australian market of over 100 years; this Property Developer manages a diverse range of construction and development projects, including complex new builds, refurbishments, fit-outs, services upgrades and infrastructure works. Their point of difference is that they take on complex niche projects in the commercial, residential, arts, aged care, education and health sectors. Managing the project lifecycle from acquisition to completion, their focus is to deliver exceptional quality projects. The team hold themselves to high accord, many of whom have a long-standing relationship with the company spanning up to 15 years.
The Role
In your new role, you will use your broad knowledge to deliver a scope of projects across the industry including both small and larger projects. You will be responsible for the provision of coordinating sub-contractors, managing resources and time schedules, liaising with stakeholders and abiding by strict safety protocols. You will lead by example and use effective communication to work with the team to deliver successful outcomes for the company. As an experienced Project Manager, it will be your responsibility to ensure all projects are delivering on time and within budget.

Your previous experience on works up to $10M will be your first key to success. A building license is a must. Solid communication, approachability, and a desire to be an active member of your project teams will ensure you fit in perfectly with this company culture. Comfortability and adaptability in communication with clients and subcontractors are essential, as well as trade qualifications, White Card and a proactive attitude. Your project portfolio will demonstrate relevant projects, all delivered to targets. You will be well versed in leadership roles, with the ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders. You will be comfortable in problem-solving and making timely decisions whilst under pressure.
