The People and Operations Manager will have the space to make the role their own, working with and overseeing an established Administration team of wonderful people.
The Role
We are looking for an enthusiastic People and Operations Manager to join and support the Grieve Gillett Architects team. This role involves developing and implementing operational processes, along with leading and inspiring a high performing team, fostering a supportive and people-first culture. For the right individual, this role offers the potential for long-term career progression to develop into senior leadership level. Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Oversee quality assurance, accounts and administration personnel
- Provide mentoring, coaching and support
- Continuously review and improve operational program processes and procedures to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and scalability
- Work closely with the Directors and Executive Leadership Team to manage studio operations
- Manage HR systems within the office in liaison with an external HR advisor
- Drive a high performing team to achieve outcomes and continuous success
The Grieve Gillett Architects team seek an inspirational leader with a proven track record in developing and implementing operational strategies that align with an organisation's mission and goals. Along with driving efficiency, you will have a natural leadership style that is empowering, supportive and collaborative to drive GGA’s positive culture. To be considered for this role, you will possess:
- Familiarity with macro business systems such as financial reporting, HR+IR, Quality Assurance and Operational Software
- Proven experience in a similar role within a fast-paced and ever-changing organisation
- Excellent organisational and multitasking abilities
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to work
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- A commitment to quality and accuracy in all tasks
- Previous experience in a Design and/or Architecture studio is desirable
