Part Time Accounts Administrator

ROUSSOS Recruitment is proud to be partnering with a well-established, South Australian residential builder. They specialise in delivering exceptional custom high-end home designs, all designs are completed in-house, and have a strong reputation in the market for delivering homes on time and on budget. Together, we are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Administrator to join their finance team and contribute to the continued success of their business.
  
The Role
As an Accounts Administrator, you will play a crucial role in managing financial transactions, ensuring accurate record-keeping, and supporting the finance team. This position requires a meticulous eye for detail, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  
Some of the responsibilities include but are not limited to:
  • Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly financial reports, maintaining compliance with company policies.
  • Accounts Payable / Receivable: Process payments and invoices while ensuring timely collection of receivables.
  • Bank Reconciliations: Complete monthly bank reconciliations, ensuring all financial records are accurate and discrepancies are resolved
  • Expense Management: Review and process employee expenses, ensuring proper documentation and approvals.
  • Data Entry / Record Keeping: Maintain and update financial records to ensure the finance database is accurate and up to date.
  • Collating and Processing Invoices: Handle subcontractor and supplier invoices, ensuring they align with budgets and purchase orders. And create and send progress claims invoices to clients, ensuring accurate and timely billing.
  • Liaison with Suppliers / Customers: Communicate effectively with external stakeholders to resolve any billing or payment inquiries. And accurately input and update new client information in accounting and CRM software
The Like Mind:
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years experience in accounts payable, bookkeeping, or a similar financial role, ideally within the construction or home-building industry. As this is a technical position, the successful candidate must demonstrate strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy, particularly in financial data entry and reconciliation. Excellent organisational and time-management skills are essential, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritise efficiently.
