The Role
As HSE Manager, you will play a key role in driving a safety-first culture across all operations. Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing end-to-end safety requirements for the business.
- Implementing and maintaining HSE management systems.
- Developing and delivering HSE training programs.
- Conducting regular site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
- Ensuring compliance with WHS legislation, industry guidelines, and company policies.
- Leading incident investigations and recommending corrective actions.
- Analysing HSE data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborating with project teams to drive continuous improvement in safety practices.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
- 5+ years of experience in a safety-focused role, within the commercial construction industry.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations, quality management systems, and best practices.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.
- A proactive and detail-oriented approach to problem-solving.
- A Certificate IV in WHS and a relevant First Aid Certificate.
