The Role
As HSE Advisor, you will be supporting site personnel and ultimately be responsible for fostering a culture of safety. You will:
To succeed in this role, you will have a minimum of five years experience as an HSE Advisor or in a similar position, ideally within the civil or road construction industry. A strong understanding of safety, environmental, and quality management systems is essential, alongside the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively. A Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is required, and experience with 3D Safety or other safety IT platforms will be highly regarded. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are key, as you’ll be engaging and influencing stakeholders at all levels. Flexibility to work and live both metro and regional, with all accommodation expenses covered by the company. An Australian Driver’s License and White Card are also essential. The Role

- Perform site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Oversee workplace incident reporting, lead thorough investigations, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Guide and mentor delivery teams, ensuring safety systems and procedures are effectively applied on-site.
- Design and deliver targeted training programs to build skills, knowledge, and confidence across teams.
- Work collaboratively to cultivate a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse safety performance metrics, identifying and addressing areas for improvement proactively.
