The Role
As HSE Advisor, you will be supporting site personnel and ultimately be responsible for fostering a culture of safety. You will:
To thrive in this role, you’ll bring at least five years of experience as an HSE Advisor or in a similar position, ideally within civil or road construction. A solid understanding of safety, environmental, and quality management systems is essential, along with the ability to manage multiple priorities independently. A Certificate IV in Work Health and Safety is required, and experience with 3D Safety or other safety IT platforms will be a bonus. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are crucial, as you'll be engaging with stakeholders at all levels. Flexibility to work across both metro and regional areas is required, with all accommodation costs covered. An Australian Driver’s License and White Card are also necessary. The Role

- Perform site inspections and audits to ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and quality standards.
- Oversee workplace incident reporting, lead thorough investigations, and implement effective corrective actions.
- Guide and mentor delivery teams, ensuring safety systems and procedures are effectively applied on-site.
- Design and deliver targeted training programs to build skills, knowledge, and confidence across teams.
- Work collaboratively to cultivate a strong safety culture and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and analyse safety performance metrics, identifying and addressing areas for improvement proactively.
