They are seeking an Electrical Drafter to contribute to the full design process, modelling electrical systems for major projects. You’ll collaborate with engineers and stakeholders to deliver precise, efficient drafter. The Role
  
This diverse role provides growth opportunities across a broad range of sectors and professional challenges, where you will play a pivotal role in adding to the maintenance division of the business.
  
Your key responsibilities will include, but aren’t limited to:
  • Produce Electrical Models & Drawings: Develop detailed electrical models and drawings for a range of projects.
  • Collaborate on Documentation: Work closely with the design team and engineers to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all project documentation.
  • Design Feasibility: Coordinate with project managers and site teams to ensure the feasibility of designs.
  • Use of Design Software: Utilise industry-standard design software such as Revit and AutoCAD for efficient project delivery.
  • Client Coordination: Attend client meetings alongside project managers to ensure smooth communication and alignment on project goals.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Provide timely updates on drawing revisions and variations to all relevant stakeholders.
The Like Mind
  
The ideal candidate will have 2 plus years’ experience in electrical design modelling, with a strong understanding of electrical systems. They should be proficient in Revit and/or AutoCAD, with the ability to produce accurate and high-quality designs. A good knowledge of electrical systems and construction standards is essential to ensure compliance and efficiency. The candidate should demonstrate exceptional attention to detail, ensuring precision in all aspects of design and documentation. Additionally, the ability to work effectively within a team environment, collaborating with engineers, designers, and project managers, is crucial for success in this role.
