As part of strategic growth, they are expanding their Adelaide team in 2025 with an exciting opportunity for an experienced Contract Administrator to join their ranks and contribute to their continued success.

The Role

Working closely with a Senior Project Manager, you will play a key role in delivering innovative, technically challenging, and fast-paced design-and-construct projects. As a Contract Administrator, you will take responsibility for managing subcontract and head contract administration, procurement, and providing strategic input on program, design, constructibility, and quality considerations.

With a diverse portfolio of projects across various sectors, this role offers the opportunity to deepen your expertise while being exposed to advanced construction techniques and practices.

Skills and Requirements
  • Qualifications: Tertiary qualifications in Building or Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or Quantity Surveying.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience with major building trades and procurement processes, particularly on design-and-construct projects, gained while working with reputable building contractors.
  • Financial Acumen: Proven ability to prepare cost forecasts, analyse cash flow, and monitor financial outcomes on significant projects.
  • Contract Expertise: Skilled in assessing subcontractor variations, preparing head contract variations, and managing commercial and legal aspects of contracts.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with construction-specific acts, codes, and regulations, including the Building Code of Australia, Security of Payments Act, and Work Health & Safety Act.
  • Soft Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with a collaborative approach to working with clients and subcontractors.
