ROUSSOS Recruitment have partnered with a leading national contractor delivering high profile civil projects across South Australia to source a Site Supervisor. With consistent growth and a strong pipeline of secured projects, our client is a leader in delivering high-quality civil construction outcomes. Known for their collaborative culture, they offer excellent working conditions and a focus on career development. Their project portfolio spans a range of sectors, including road construction, intersections, bridges, and other civil infrastructure across regional and metro South Australia, with project values ranging from $5M to $20M.

Due to continued success, they are seeking a motivated Civil Supervisor to lead teams on complex road infrastructure projects. This role offers the chance to work within a supportive environment on diverse and impactful projects.

The Role

As a Civil Supervisor, you will be responsible for the daily management of on-site operations. This includes ensuring all works meet safety, quality, and environmental standards while aligning with project timelines and budgets. Reporting directly to the Project Manager, your key responsibilities include:
  • Managing the allocation of plant, materials, and human resources to meet project deadlines.
  • Leading and supervising teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to deliver high-quality outcomes.
  • Overseeing on-site safety compliance and conducting toolbox talks, inductions, and audits.
  • Participating in site inspections, client meetings, and project sign-offs to ensure all requirements are met.
  • Handling administrative tasks such as timesheets, site diaries, and delivery dockets.
The Like Mind

To excel in this role, you will have:
  • At least 5 years of experience supervising civil road and infrastructure projects, with a strong understanding of South Australian standards, including DIT and council works.
  • Exceptional leadership and communication skills to effectively manage teams and liaise with stakeholders.
  • A proactive approach to safety and quality compliance on-site.
  • Flexibility to work and live both metro and regional, with all accommodation expenses covered by the company.
  • A White Card and a valid Driver’s License (essential).
