ROUSSOS is excited to be partnering with a leading force in civil construction industry, dedicated to delivering on time on budget solutions. And due to business growth, they are currently seeking a talented Estimator to contribute to their continues success.

The Role
You will report to the estimating manager and be accountable for preparing accurate and competitive bids. Your role will entail client interface, generating accurate and competitive estimates, engaging with key internal and external stakeholders, and managing all relevant information for tender submissions.
Tender bids will incorporate a broad range of projects including all areas of civil construction and earthmoving from general earthworks through to complete subdivisions.  


Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Evaluation: Assess project requirements, scope, and specifications to create accurate and detailed cost estimates.
  • Cost Analysis: Conduct comprehensive cost analysis, factoring in materials, labour, equipment, and overhead to produce competitive and realistic estimates.
  • Bid Preparation: Prepare detailed bids and proposals, ensuring they align with project objectives and client expectations.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with project managers, engineers, suppliers, and subcontractors to gather necessary information for precise estimations. Maintain accurate document control and management.
  • Market Research: Stay abreast of industry trends, material costs, and construction methodologies to provide informed insights.
The Like Mind
To be successful in this role, you will need to have at least 2+ years previous experience working as an Estimator in the Civil Construction sector.
  • Relevant Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering or Civil Trade Qualification 
  • Proficiency in estimation software and advanced knowledge of industry-specific tools.
  • Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
