ROUSSOS hosted clients from the construction, property, architecture, and engineering industries to take part in the JLF Trek through the Murray Bridge / Monarto Region.
For the 6th year running, we’ve participated in this event, and each year, it reminds us of the strong bonds and partnerships we’ve forged in the industry. At ROUSSOS, our business is all about making a positive impact on people, and supporting non-profit organisations that align with our values is a big part of who we are.
The Jodi Lee Foundation stands out as a leading advocate for bowel cancer prevention, reaching millions of Australians annually through national campaigns to raise awareness. Their mission is to empower individuals to take proactive steps to prevent bowel cancer, a highly preventable disease when detected early. This year, an estimated 15,000 people will be diagnosed with bowel cancer. It’s the leading cause of cancer-related deaths among people aged 25 – 34, a group that likely includes your colleagues, family, and friends.
A huge shout-out to those who generously donated to Team ROUSSOS in recent weeks and of course, those who walked the 71km with us. We have now raised just over $45,000 which is nearly double our initial team goal. We couldnt be more thankful! Your contributions have made a significant impact, supporting various JLF initiatives such as workplace prevention programs, testing kits, and overall awareness campaigns for bowel cancer.
